Noble Corporation – ‘Noble Lloyd Noble’ Project

Oil and Gas Development Corporation Group of companies (OGDC) has a proud record of working closely with our Clients to deliver projects in the quickest possible timescale and within budget.

We provided project management consultancy, assurance and project execution services to Noble Corporation on the ‘Noble Lloyd Noble’ hull replacement project
Defined, planned and executed at Port Harcourt. Our project team consisted of highly skilled and competent expats and local Nigerian supervision. The project was affected by a growth of 50% unplanned scope of work but through attention to detail and commitment by the project management team, the project was completed on time with zero defects.

This was a tremendous achievement executed under difficult circumstances and it proved that with good communication and organisational skills, projects can be completed effectively in Nigeria.

Transocean ‘MG Hulme’

Transocean recently completed the Special Periodic Survey and Upgrade works on the ‘MG Hulme’ project, which was executed in the Port of Tema, Ghana. The Directors of OGDC were responsible for convincing both Transocean Sedco Forex and Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority that the Port of Tema was a viable option for Transocean to execute the project, saving Transocean approximately U$D12million in towing costs.
