OGDC  is an independent, energy development company based in United Kingdom with offices in Ghana, Nigeria and China OGDC focuses on the development of energy resources in Africa. OGDC is focused on working with National Government Agencies, to develop sustainable capacity from within, to develop natural resources to service local demand and to provide value added foreign revenue generating projects.

Strategy

OGDC strategy is to work with national and regional government to enable the building of capacity from within. OGDC expertise is focused on the effective exploitation of energy resources (including renewable) to the benefit of the host country. The focus is on adding valve to the existing natural resources so that domestic demand can be satisfied and a stable foreign revenue stream created. This strategy is implemented by investments with local producers and governments in infrastructure projects such as Micro refinerys, bio-fuels and IPPs. This focus has been further defined by concentrating on the geographic region of Africa, where we hold interests in projects ranging in Ghana, and  Nigeria. 

Our Vision

It is our strategy to establish value adding energy infrastructure in partnership with local stakeholders and from this derive a significant market presence in the export of energy from the African continent resulting in the creation and delivery of shareholder wealth.

Our Focus

We focus on areas where governments are keen to achieve high growth in the energy sector and wish to improve the local content of developments than would traditionally be achieved. Our focus on West Africa has already resulted in a number of significant opportunities and offers further prospect of significant further value creation.
